FRIENDS OF ATOMIC : BEABEA'S
Owners Sarah Tabak and Ben Eyres both trained at institution Daily Bread (Ben was the Head Pastry chef) and wanted to create a no-frills bakery, where locals could nostalgically indulge in Kiwi classics that have been revisited (and improved!).
The Hot Cross Buns are already praised as some of the best the city has to offer, but we recommend you don't sleep on their pies (the steak and cheese is an absolute must!), loaves and pastries AND of course epic coffee.

HIGHEST QUALITY COFFEE & EQUIPMENT
At Atomic, we’re not ones to compromise. We only source premium specialty-grade coffees from around the globe, in search of the best flavours to craft espresso blends that stand out and will set you apart.
We roast our coffee in small batches, by hand, at our roastery in Kingsland, Auckland, so you’ll always receive the freshest beans, packed with rich and complex flavours. We also source and roast a range of single origin coffees with unique characteristics, perfect for filter brewing. We’d love to create a coffee program that suits your needs and your customers’ palates.
To get the best extraction of flavours, you’ll need the finest equipment. We provide a range of espresso machines, grinders and filter brewers, and will work with you to figure out which equipment is best suited to your environment.
A DEDICATED TEAM OF EXPERTS
You can’t be everywhere and know everything – and you shouldn’t have to! So when you partner with us, we become part of your crew and lend you our dedicated team of experts.
Starting with our Training department, made up of coffee competition contestants, coaches and judges. Barista training is free for our café partners, and we’ll follow up with visits in your café to check that you’ve got everything you need to make each cup a perfect one.
Our in-house technicians look after your equipment. From power supply to water filtration and anything in between, they’ve got the answer to any questions you may have. And because a breakdown doesn’t have to mean shutting down, we offer after hours tech support for repairs.
Running a busy café takes more than coffee and equipment, so you can always lean on our team's decades of combined hospo experience to figure out your café design and layout, workflow, or the best strategy to reach a wider audience, whether it’s through marketing and advertising strategy, or supporting you with or at events.

We run 5 successful venues across Auckland – our Kingsland flagship café at the roastery, 3 bustling espresso bars in the CBD and a machinery showroom & café in the heart of Ponsonby Rd.
Everyone in our team is either an ex café owner, manager or barista. We’ve pulled thousands of shots and poured thousands of lattes. We know the stress of being short-staffed and the importance of turning your team into Swiss-army knives. We know that having good banter with customers helps turn them into regulars – and so does tasty coffee that’s great every single day.
