Nicaragua Mama Mina
Surrounded by trees and mountains in every direction, the Mama Mina farm looks onto the vastness of the forest covered high mountain ranges of Nicaragua. The farm run by the Mierisch family was named and dedicated to their Grandmother, Mina McEwan. It was one of their first specialty only farms as they transitioned from conventional farming to specialty post the coffee crisis in the late 90's.
The success of the coffee is partly down to its altitude and nutrient-rich soil, but mostly down to the huge amount of love and care that’s given to the picking and processing stages.
